Van-Am has the ability to cover a full spectrum of volume and tooling.

Utilizing our two CNC pressbrakes (a 143 ton x 10′ Amada 8 axis and a 220 ton x 12′ Durma 6 axis.) Along with our two hydraulic presses, we are able to synchronize forming jobs, allowing us to work simultaneously on large orders and smaller detailed items. Our variety of dies enable every conceivable need to be met at the highest level of quality.

Our success wouldn’t be possible without the skilled professionals who work our machines like fine symphony conductors. Their master craftsmanship and years of experience allows them to meet exacting specifications and tight timelines. Our experienced team specializes in cost-effectiveness and value by beating the competition with a creative, out-of-the-box view on meeting the customer’s custom manufacturing needs.
To fully understand what our capabilities are, let’s review the shop and its equipment:
Van-Am can form or bend with hard tooling when volumes are high or low, even if budget dollars are tight.
We have the ability to utilize our 2 pressbrakes to cover the full spectrum of volumes and tooling. Both CNC pressbrakes utilize models to drive consistency and accuracy, and are repeatable for multiple orders.
Van-Am also has 2 hydraulic CNC pressbrakes.
Press brakes can be used for many different forming jobs with the right die design.
Typical types of dies that we utilize are outlined herein:
V-dies are the most common type of die.
90 degree dies for bottoming operations.
Acute angle (air-bending) dies are used to produce acute, 90 degree, and obtuse angles Gooseneck (return-flanging) dies/punch allow for clearance of already formed flanges.
Offset dies are a combination punch and die set.
Radius dies create a bend produced by a rounded punch.
Big or small, we can make it all, at all volumes and at affordable prices. As we continue to grow, we will also continue to uplift our core values of providing high quality, value and cost-effectiveness, utilizing our experience for you, the customer. So for your manufacturing needs, let our maestros of metal forming and custom manufacturing serve you.
